Quarterly team meeting in Bath!

Walpole in Bath

This time last week we were gathering to spend more time together as a team at our quarterly meeting which was held in Bath at one of the excellent Hand Picked Hotels, Bailbrook House.

In addition to our regular team meeting presentations, we were treated to a very insightful session on how best to give and receive feedback, which was shared by our director, Lisa Zevi, and a hands-on session about stress management given by our Project Manager, Arina Kurchina, who is also a qualified Hypno-CBT practitioner. We all took away key information which will enrich our life and assist with how we can positively continue to work together, which is especially valuable as a fully remote working team.

At team meetings we’re privileged to work hard and play hard, and we really enjoyed sharing meals together, as well as seeing some of the sites of historic Bath from an open top bus and learning juggling and plate spinning in a circus skills workshop. I think most of us found that we were pretty good at keeping the plates spinning (which is a useful skill in our line of work!).

As usual, there are many thank yous to make when organising this kind of event for over 20 people. Firstly, we must mention Hayley McDonald an Simone Whitbread at Walpole and thank them for considering every single detail and for making these few days such a success. Thanks also to Gill Brown and the team at TakeTwo Travel Solutions and to the team at the Bailbrook House Hotel – you were all so accommodating and worked really hard to ensure the smooth running of our event. We are already looking forward to our next meeting in the Autumn!
