Unless you have avoided all media for the last month or so, you’ll be aware of the Football World Cup on Sunday. If you’re no longer supporting your team, you may be turning your attention away from the final game so let’s take a moment to look at another popular sport, golf, which might be a welcome distraction for some! Walpole Partnership felt privileged to support the CSI Charity Golf Day 2018 last week, in aid of the Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
The event took place on the stunning Brabazon golf course at the Belfry in the West Midlands, taking the format from the Ryder Cup, pitching two evenly matched teams together in match play format. Walpole Partnership was delighted to sponsor the nearest pin competition and provide further donations on the day.
The weather was stunning, the turnout was great, and over £1,300 was raised for an extremely worthwhile cause. Ian Jenkins, our Senior Project Delivery Consultant, said, “It was a privilege to participate in the CSI Charity Golf Day. I am very proud to work for an employer like Walpole Partnership, which takes its corporate social responsibility so seriously. I’d also like to send very best wishes to the Birmingham Children’s Hospital, its staff and all the children who are treated there.”
