The essential move to OCI

During the ongoing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) migration, your Oracle Configure, Price Quote (CPQ) Cloud environment(s) will move to a new data centre. As a result, there will be changes that will need to be performed prior to the successful migration completion.

These changes are related to:
1 – SFTP Server Name Changes: there are new SFTP servers on the OCI platform and setting changes will have to be performed

2 – SFTP Authentication: username/password authentication is not supported on OCI, SSH key authentication setup in OCI is required

3 – CPQ Outbound Email: to continue sending emails from your email domain, SPF records will need to be updated

4 – SFTP/HTTPS Using IP Allow Listing: list IPs allowing for outbound connectivity for CPQ will need to be updated.

All relevant support documentation has been published by Oracle, however the Walpole Partnership technical team will be happy to assist you with troubleshooting or overcoming any challenges you have regarding your CPQ environments, so that they continue to operate smoothly and without interruption.

Please contact us if you have any questions related to the upcoming migration.
