A great evening at Ormer Mayfair, London last week, representing Walpole Partnership and joining Conga and a group of commercial, sales, pricing, procurement, finance and revenue operations leaders for some lively discussion around pricing and Lead-to-Cash.
It was particularly interesting to hear how different organisations are approaching pricing strategy, commercial discipline and some of the complexity that can build up across the deal cycle, as well as in which areas advancements are taking place and in which ones it is stalling.
Having worked across pricing, CPQ and Lead-to-Cash transformation for many years, I really enjoyed contributing to the discussion and sharing some of the lessons I’ve seen first-hand, particularly around how organisations can bring greater structure and discipline to complex commercial processes, without losing the flexibility needed to get deals done and at improved pace and consistency. It was also a great opportunity to make some new connections and exchange perspectives with others working through these challenges.
Plenty of good conversation, lots to take away, and a fantastic setting at Ormer Mayfair. Thanks to Conga and The Executive Network for bringing everyone together, and to all those around the table for such an enjoyable evening.
