Representatives from Walpole Partnership have been privileged to attend not only one, but two of the Oracle Modern Customer Experience (MCX) days this week the first in Frankfurt and the second in London. We couldn’t get to the Stockholm MCX, as today we’ve been busy with the Oracle CPQ Partner Advisory Board in London, but a couple of the team are in Sweden on business next week, so well hopefully get to check in with our Oracle friends over there soon.
The Frankfurt MCX was held at the Union Halle and we were able to meet up with many interesting contacts including Cengiz Yilmaz, Head of Oracle CX Cloud Applications Germany. It was great to see customers telling their stories and to see how Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) technology is working in the Oracle CX eco-system.
At the Hilton London Metropole, our MC for the day, Neil Pridham, kept us wonderfully entertained by introducing the event and the varied speakers which included Peter Rutherford from Hexagon Metrology. Peter spoke about the benefits his organisation has gained from implementing CPQ and gave some great advice on how to do it well, and also offered his hindsight on what to do differently. Networking is always really good at Oracle events, and throughout the day we touched base with our friends and partners at BPI OnDemand, Fred Wilkinson, Michael Taylor and Neil Kent, and we also caught up with Elsa Alves, Graham Higgins, Murray Grubb, Scott Falconer and Paul Evans from Oracle.
It’s been a great week, filled with valuable and enjoyable Oracle events, and we are looking forward to Oracle OpenWorld Europe which is coming to London in January. If you’re planning on going to OpenWorld in the new year and would like to meet up to discuss implementing Oracle CPQ, please get in contact or arrange a call with one of our CPQ specialists.
