Looking back on 2025

As we reach the end of the year, it’s time to reflect on what 2025 has meant for all of us at Walpole Partnership. Each year we take a moment to look back at what we’ve built together, how we’ve supported our customers, and how we’ve shown up for one another as a team.

Despite the turbulence of the wider world – political uncertainty, environmental pressures, and the accelerating pace of technological change – I continue to feel incredibly proud of how Walpole Partnership charts its own course. We’ve remained true to our values, delivered meaningful outcomes for our clients, and strengthened the culture that underpins everything we do.

This year has seen some outstanding achievements across CPQ, Billing, and the full Opportunity-to-Cash spectrum. I’m especially pleased with the results delivered for a number of clients: from deep process consultancy for a global workforce services organisation, to data analysis initiatives for a major Nordic logistics provider, through to several significant CPQ go-lives – our core craft and the work that continues to define us. Alongside these milestones, we’ve delivered a wide range of improvement projects for both long-standing customers and new partners, bringing tangible benefits such as faster quoting, improved pricing accuracy, and reduced operational overheads.

At the heart of all this is our team. Their expertise, resilience, humour, and commitment to doing great work are the driving force behind every success. This year more than ever, I want to thank them for the long hours, creative thinking, and collaboration across borders and time zones. Our employees, contractors, and partners form a cohesive unit that feels stronger than ever – no mean feat after 12 years of largely remote working.

It’s also been inspiring to see the team embrace AI in a thoughtful and responsible way, enhancing productivity, quality, and innovation. Our continued commitment to security and governance remains strong, with ISO 27001 in place and ISO 42001 on the horizon as we align with future-facing best practices.

On a personal level, I’m proud of my sons and their progress at secondary school. It’s a big year for my eldest as he prepares for his GCSEs, and my younger son continues to bring much-needed joy as we ride the highs and lows of being Ipswich Town supporters.

I’m also immensely proud of my wife, Sapna, who continues to push boundaries in all things brand. Her upcoming product, BrandVisions.AI, will bring her brand expertise to a wider entrepreneurial community, alongside her passion project, The NotWorkers, which creates fun, inclusive networking experiences for people who prefer a different kind of connection.

Looking back, 2025 has been a year of challenge, growth, and renewed purpose. As the holidays approach, I invite you to raise a glass to the year we’ve had and the opportunities ahead. Here’s to 2026 – may it be our best year yet.
