As the festive season approaches, I find myself reflecting on the remarkable journey we’ve been on at Walpole Partnership over the past year. 2024 has been a year of significant innovation and renewal for our team.
We’re now 11 years old and last year I noted that we’d soon be a teenager and it’s fair to say that we’ve experienced some growing pains this year, but I’m so proud of the way the team has responded to all the 2024 challenges.
We have managed to get three major customers to go-live with their CPQ projects on Oracle and PROS platforms and we’ve continued to support many other customers by enhancing their systems too.
Our project partnerships with other Systems Integrators like BPI OnDemand, InspireXT, ArticulateIT and Ben Consulting Services continue to bear fruit, as do our existing and new partnerships with the amazing technology vendors that we work with. The aforementioned Oracle and PROS have been leading the way for us this year. We’ve also invested in developing our core practice and prospects with Conga and Billing Platform, next to continued collaboration with Elfsquad, Logik.io and NetSuite. I’m sure we’ll be sharing a lot more about all of those in 2025!
The events we’ve attended have been a big personal highlight for me – it’s great to be feeling completely back to normal after the oddness of the Covid years. A special mention to the major events like Oracle Cloudworld and Salesforce World Tour as well as many smaller, more focussed events like the Pros AI sessions and the Revenue Lifecycle Management (RLM) Conga webinars.
We’ve been sad to say au revoir (never goodbye!) to a few wonderful Walpole employees – we wish you well on the next chapter of your great journeys and are thankful for all you’ve done for us.
We’ve welcomed new team members too as we continue to build the culture and strength of the Walpole organisation in the UK, France, Belgium, Spain and of course our brilliant offshore teams in India. Thank you all for your continued efforts to serve our customers so well and for helping us on our quest to be the number one Revenue Transformation consultancy!
Soon it will be time to relax a little more and spend some time with loved ones, and wherever you are in the world, I wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays and I hope you too can reflect on a wonderful 2024, and look forward to a bright New Year.
