Next up for the Employee Spotlight is Stuart Wymant.
How long have you worked at Walpole Partnership?
I joined Walpole in February 2019, so early next year I will be celebrating 5 years.
What’s your role at Walpole Partnership?
My core role is heading up customer success, however I also run our company objectives and continual improvement programmes, develop all brand assets and oversee our EPM business.
What did you want to be when you were growing up?
An artist, but despite having good technical ability I never really had the creativity for it.
What do you consider to be your greatest achievement?
An achievement I share with my fiancée, Lisa, is our IVF miracle daughter Layla Rose who recently turned 2 years old, proving that persistence does in fact pay off!
What can you be found doing in your spare time?
Seeing family, enjoying great food and drink, watching sport and playing golf whenever I get the chance.
What one skill would you love to have or learn to do?
A good golf short game – those who have played with me will all know…
If you could time travel, where would you go?
Next weekend and back again, giving me just enough time to capture all the weekend’s sporting results and then return to place a large accumulator bet (a basic variation on Biff’s plan in Back To The Future).
What one thing really annoys you?
Arrogance.
What is your favourite film of all time?
It’s tough to choose one, but Wolf Of Wall Street is definitely up there, alongside many Christopher Nolan films. If I had been asked that question in my early teenage years it would have definitely been Rocky IV.
Sweet or savoury?
Savoury…I’m a starter and main guy with my desert more likely to be another pint.
