Walpole Partnership is pleased to make great progress in recent weeks on the NHS Supply Chain CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) project that we are carrying out in conjunction with our partners at BPI OnDemand. NHS Supply Chain manages the sourcing, delivery and supply of healthcare products, services and food for NHS trusts and healthcare organisations across England and Wales.
The solution requirements for the NHS Supply Chain were collated during several detailed workshops and approval has now been provided which allows us to progress with the solution build phase. The build phase will be integrating CPQ with an existing instance of OEC (Oracle Engagement Cloud) to remove duplication and re-keying of data. It will also maximise the functionality of the Oracle Cloud CPQ platform, to introduce autonomy and greater efficiency for the as-is quoting process(es).
We have established the breakdown for our development that will be completed across multiple sprints, with regular playbacks to the NHS team. We will continue to update you on this project as we progress with the build and testing phases.
Laura Sellers, Head of Capital Support for NHS Supply Chain, said, “We are really pleased with how the project is going so far and that the team have fed back that they are confident in the solution and are looking forward to testing it.”
Ian Jenkins, Walpole Partnership’s Senior Consultant for Project Delivery, said, “This is an exciting implementation to work on, as the NHS is such an important and iconic institution, and we are grateful to be able to support and work with them during these exceptional times.”
